Fondaparinux (trade name Arixtra) is an anticoagulant medication chemically related to low molecular weight heparins. It is marketed by GlaxoSmithKline.

Fondaparinux is a synthetic pentasaccharide Factor Xa inhibitor, as evident by its chemical structure on the right. Apart from the O-methyl group at the reducing end of the molecule, the identity and sequence of the five monomeric sugar units contained in fondaparinux is identical to a sequence of five monomeric sugar units that can be isolated after either chemical or enzymatic cleavage of the polymeric glycosaminoglycans heparin and heparan sulfate (HS). Within heparin and heparan sulfate this monomeric sequence is thought to form the high affinity binding site for the anti-coagulant factor antithrombin III (ATIII). Binding of heparin/HS to ATIII has been shown to increase the anti-coagulant activity of antithrombin III 1000 fold. In contrast to heparin, fondaparinux does not inhibit thrombin.

Fondaparinux is given subcutaneously daily. Clinically, it is used for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis in patients who have had orthopedic surgery as well as for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.

Earlier today i was in a hurry for i went to Tagum and pass my application :) though i thought today is a holiday only for student but still there is work.

Jay is there and Dovie, help me out :) at least i don't have much difficulty applying at all as a Volunteer Nurse, mind you... they only entertain Registered Nurse :( so how about those who failed.. they cant have any training at all:(

One of the important events of my Life :)

Passing the Board Exam... Finally the result came out yesterday :) I pass the exam YEHEY!!! and i can say...now i am a Registered Nurse.. I am proud that i achieve it with faith and To God be the Glory!!!

From the beginning i know i will make it, for it is a revelation :)

I am blessed for my prayers were answered that i am able to take the review... God sent an instrument to me. Though, when his purpose has been served he was suddenly out of my life for unknown reasons he choose it to be like that way. I called him up and give my Thanks :) I am happy for he talked to me and that ends the good deed that was exceptionally shown... His goodness shall spread for i will give it back what God has given me. Might not be to him but to the needy.

And to the my family and friends who are there to give me support when i needed it most... Maraming Salamat.

For this is just a beginning of the new journey i have to take... GOD BLESS RN

Well, i have to stump numbers of poster with that :) AD IN MOTION.

Not that interesting but it make me productive at all that :) its like a routine that you do it once and another makes you more faster :)

By the way... TNT/Smart network are offering 10 pesos unlimited text for a day for Mindanao Area only. wow that's Good news to all the Text bombs though i dont know till when but good thing is that they offered it... on how to do it just try to go to WRITE NEW type 10 and sent to 258. Cool!!

Job Hunting

Nowadays is so hard to look for a job, we are very much aware of the Global Crisis that we are experiencing, unemployment rate increased and everyone is tightening there finances.

Looking for a job is so hard when everyone seems to be your competitors a competitions for a living :) may the best man wins at all that the game that i have to play. Well, i have a bad experience to share at all. There was one company that informed me, telling me i was hired. and much to my dismay, i was asked to report to there office on that day at 8am only to find out, the HR Department asked my supposed to be co-employee "WHAT IS SHE DOING THERE?" and that leads me to think what the heck is going on... kinda odd! so they coordinated to the HR in Manila since the operation was centralized at all and instead i was asked to get my NBI as one of my requirements, so i was out for lunch and go directly to the NBI sort of a clearance for me. so that was today and the day after tomorrow i was informed again to report and i was there early to see the president and the worst was that SHE IS LATE!! and so i needed a job.. i am to wait and finally she came, i thought that was the worst thing that ever happened to wait for the Lady President but mostly i was told that my application was FREEZE!!!

That really sounds new to me.. FREEZE APPLICATION and what would i do for the requirement they asked me to comply when its no longer in used at all! and that leads me not to work. i wont mention what the company's name at all.

However i believed in the saying... WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND!

Well, their company has been ones tainted with the leakage of the exam.. though it is already cleared now.. it could never be banished of the memory of the people who learns about it. your integrity is always question

Long Distance Love affair

Sometimes it leads me to think that having a long distance love affair is kinda hard when emotion is over ruled your logical thinking....

I am in a relationship right now and i can say that its kinda hard when sometimes he is so busy at work that we only text each day :), when what i want is to share all the moments with him... some of my friends says that i should not go on to a relationship a dilemma for me to take for i am too possessive... i should be a girlfriend whom you care for the boyfriend and not hold them on the neck and act like a mother hen... lol.

and that leads me to a question... How to be an ideal Girlfriend in a way i want this relationship to work at all :) though it takes two to tango and your help would be welcome at all

Remembering Kring Kring

It was early in the morning and yet i dont have the appetite for the food infront of me.... My friend texted me, informing me that the child we visit at the hospital just died.

I just met her yesterday when i went to see a friend and accompany her at the hospital. Hospital for me is never new, people being sick and treated to get well.... patient wanted to get well even be cure, however in the case of Kring Kring she is so young, alive as a kid and vibrant who have been so active and even join the majorite at their school. I could say, she is achiever and a happy child.

For even if she is lying down at the bed... seems like she is just sleeping, not in pain... her sisters are their singing for her with his dad they look happy and yet when i saw his father's eyes... he couldnt pretend to me, i saw the pain and grieving for the child they have... the death is so sudden... she was diagnose having a brain tumor and 3 months after.... she join the Lord Almighty.

She touch my life... with sadness in my heart..... Realization came up that I might Live today and die tomorrow... We live to die (Freud). Better make life worthwhile each day with Lord Almighty as our savious

Friends sometimes come and go....

only few are real that you need to cherish them and make them feel special as they make you felt worthy of their attention.

It's been a month i was assigned to a new store i think, that i met these guys oftentimes they just stayed at the store.... they just sat there and sometimes look for a new phone and buy it and oftentimes just there to have their coffee lol.

what i am amazed at... the guy named Edoy got extremely opposite personality with Pekto. well they got a business that they run together. Edoy is the one to be called the good guy he often just there and wait for pekto meet him and i never saw him texting with ladies ... he is indeed a behave man and faithful to his wife and family, though i saw his son when they bought a new phone at the store he seem fine as for Pekto he is ultimately describe as Ladies man... he seem to be busy texting around lol, well he is a widower so i think he was just having a great time of his life lol, i can't believe it but ladies after him at all lol.

What i love about working there is that my companion are sociable... they tend to make a lot friends and we see to it that the customer is fully satisfied with our service.

I must admit that chatting online sometimes is bland, boring that you end up surfing around instead of chatting lol. Hmmmmn, mailing some letter to a friend added some personal touch that makes it special :-) when you are on sentimental mood and you want to reminisced things you can read it again and again.

I was in a hurry going to work today i felt that I'm going to be late, which i don't want too because i was in a hot seat at work for the past couple of days though i don't want to be the centered of attention lol, i must admit that we could not please everybody

So i took a jeep from home going to work and i choose the one that i know who can make some wonders at the fast lane well, i was looking for a little adventure and not a funeral that ends up hurting my jaw , drivers sometimes plays some trick at the road, their ability to get away with the traffic is awesome but with great speed… that feels so good that adrenalin rush, unfortunately what i hated most is hearing some crash of tires that makes my heart beat so fast that i was thinkin God would this be it?

Passengers started to scream, getting hysterical… for that sudden burst of emotion, we almost hit the van… from having no space at all since all the seats are taken, suddenly the jeep was like having a huge space that 6 person can seat there and occupy it. Why is that van allowed to travel at the road with no brake lights workin at all? its crazy but good thing is that i only have bump on the man next to me… mind you he got a strong shoulders that hurt my jaw… arghhh! good thing is that i don't easily bruised.

Lesson learned… NEXT TIME i would be early at work don't want to feel that adrenalin rush again
